Cheers from the Fargo Brewing Company

Fargo Brewing Company will be able to help you quench your thirst. Cheers to the fine Brewers for their generous, tasty donation.

“Stone’s Throw (ABV 4.5%)A deep copper colored brew and a higher level of unfermented sugars create a rich mouthfeel and malty flavors and aromas. Overall hop character is low, light floral or herbal, allowing its signature malt profile to be the highlight.”

Own a piece of FMCBW ride-able history

bike modeled by the talented Jen

This bicycle began its life in the early 1960’s as a Hawthorne 3-speed. Hawthorne
was the house brand of the historic American mail order/department store retailer
Montgomery Wards.A time when one could buy a quality bicycle
from a department store.

The Hawthorne has been with the FMCBW since our first location on north
University Drive. However, with each move more and more of the original parts
were lost. Rather than relegate this beautiful lugged, English-made, steel frame to
recycling we decided on a full FMCBW customization.

Frame was stripped to bare metal and powder coated
Bottom bracket shell was chased and faced for a modern sealed-bearing
bottom bracket
Mirror-polished crankset with Surly stainless steel chain ring.
Hand-built All City/Sun Rims/DT Swiss wheel set
Flip-Flop hub: ride fixed or free!
Civia bamboo fenders
Michelin tires
WTB saddle
Many other new parts

This bicycle is truly one of a kind. Own a piece of history and support the FMCBW! The Hawthorne will be up for silent auction, this Friday at Art in Action.
